PC Magazine reviews SunFriend! July 08 2014

On July 8, 2014 PC Magazine's Jill Duffy reviewed the SunFriend. Highlights of their review include; SunFriend is elegantly simple, though it has a very beach-like, fun appearance. It's a far cry from the more serious-looking, all-black or chrome-lined wearables out there… and ...The wrist-worn UVA+B SunFriend detects UV rays, and alerts you when it's time to cover up based on your skin sensitivity; it's ideal if you want some direct sun exposure for the vitamin D benefits…

Jill was admittedly afraid to test the SunFriend without wearing sunscreen, which may be a reasonable fear given that the public has been warned that the sun is really bad for us! There is plenty of research on both sides of the aisle, but the bottom line is that one must use common sense in every situation. Using a SunFriend, can really help the wearer understand how much UV is getting through the ozone layer right where they are, and give them a better idea of what a safer, healthier amount of time in the sun is.
